A dealership runs on calls that are easy to put off. Owners whose service is due, people who asked about a new model, buyers waiting for a test drive, customers asking when their vehicle will be ready. Car and two-wheeler dealers, service workshops and spare parts counters all live on these calls.

The people who could make them are also handling walk-ins, job cards and deliveries. So the service list gets half done, the enquiry from Tuesday gets its first call on Friday, and feedback calls happen only when somebody remembers.

How BuddyX helps car dealers and workshops

1. Service reminders on time

Owners whose service is due go on a calling campaign that runs on the days and hours you set. The agent says which vehicle it is calling about, offers two slots and books the one the customer picks. If someone has sold the vehicle or serviced it elsewhere, that answer is saved too.

2. Every enquiry called back

When someone writes "call me" on WhatsApp, BuddyX calls them back. Enquiries from your website, showroom register and other sources go on a calling list that the BuddyX team sets up with you. The agent notes the model and the timeline, books a test drive, and passes serious buyers to your sales team with the notes written.

3. Test drives, deliveries and pickups

A day before a test drive, the agent confirms the time and the address. When a vehicle is ready after service or for delivery, it tells the customer and asks when they will come.

4. Feedback and showroom questions

After a service, the agent asks how it went and marks unhappy customers for your service manager. When the lines are busy, it answers questions about models, workshop timings and parts from the list you give it, and takes a message for the rest.

What a call sounds like

A made-up example. Nayak Motors is not a real dealership, and the customer is invented. He had written "please call me about the new SUV" on WhatsApp.

BuddyX: Namaste, main Nayak Motors se BuddyX bol rahi hoon, showroom ki AI assistant. Aapne WhatsApp par naye SUV ke baare mein call ke liye kaha tha. Kya do minute baat ho sakti hai?

Customer: Haan, boliye. Automatic mein aati hai?

BuddyX: Ji, automatic aur manual dono hain. Kya aap test drive lena chahenge? Saturday subah 11 baje ya Sunday shaam 4 baje ka slot hai.

Customer: Sunday 4 baje. Exchange mein purani gaadi bhi dena chahta hoon.

BuddyX: Exchange ki baat hamari sales team aapse karegi. Toh Sunday shaam 4 baje, Nayak Motors showroom, Station Road, SUV automatic ki test drive. Location WhatsApp par bhej rahi hoon, aur hamare sales advisor aapse wahin milenge.

The exchange question goes to a person, and the test drive is repeated back.

Your team stays in charge

Calls ring your team first, and BuddyX picks up only when nobody can. It hands a call to your team whenever it is not sure. Your sales and service staff can watch any call live and take it over in one click. Every call is saved with its recording, full transcript and a short summary. You set the calling hours, the days and a daily limit, and one click stops everything.

Calling rules

Service reminders, test drive confirmations and callbacks go to your own customers and to people who enquired. Calls that advertise to people who never dealt with you are promotional, and TRAI's rules on commercial calls apply to them. Declare your AI calling, and the numbers you use, to your mobile operator before you start, and let the agent say it is an AI assistant. Read our guide to AI calling rules in India.

Frequently asked questions

Can it call owners from our dealership's own number?

Yes. BuddyX runs on your Windows PC, a dedicated BuddyX device or a BuddyX phone, and calls and answers on your dealership's own number. Customers see the number they already know, and there is no new SIM.

Where do the bookings go?

The agent repeats each booking back on the call and saves it with the recording, transcript and summary for your service advisor. The customer gets a WhatsApp confirmation and a reminder before the visit.

What happens when a customer is unhappy?

The agent hands the call to your team whenever it is not sure. An unhappy customer is marked for your service manager with the reason in their own words, and your team can take over any call in one click.

Which languages does it speak with customers?

Hindi, English and more, in a male or female voice. It switches to English when the customer does.
